Since its establishment in 1998, the Jingu group has made continuous progress with innovative solutions to provide a diverse set of services with its main focus on real estate development and manufacturing of prefabricated housing. It is also involved in the construction of hotels and aged-care facilities.

The Jingu Group has branches in major Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Changzhou and Xinxiang along with international branches in the USA and Australia.

The Jingu group has won over 3 million square metres of real estate projects with around 1.8 million square metres currently either under development or waiting to be developed. The group has completed many major projects some of which include:

• the Jinxiyuan Thermostat Housing District in the Jiangsu Province, which is the first to have introduced the regional water storage central air-conditioning system;
• the Xinaojiayuan with the theme to promote healthy living;
• the Jingu Industral Park;
• the national healthy living demonstration project : the Jingu China Town Community Centre in Jintan with a total area of 500,000m2;
• the Jingu Times Plaza in Xinxiang, a landmark commercial area in the centre of the city;
• large residential project located just off the Xinxang city centre: the Jingu Sunny Community Garden;
• the Jingu Zijinyuan villa, a Xinxiang Chinese style garden project;
• Jingu Great Hotel in Xinxiang, the first 5 star hotel in the city;
• Luxury villa in city of Changzhou: the City Golf Villa;
• Grand Valley Hotel Resort in Huangguoshu, the only 5 star hotel in the city.

Since 2005 the Jingu Group has been committed to research and development (R&D) in the housing sector. The company developed the patented technology of the one-piece wall which has attracted a high level of interest in both domestic and international markets. Jingu established two international R&D joint ventures for the manufacture of integrated housing products incorporating design and production of integrated energy efficient housing which can be erected quickly. The company is also committed in the development of the production base cluster for the integrated housing industry.

The ageing of China’s population will lead to an increasing market demand for services to the retirement industry and as its first project the Jingu Group has invested in the Nanjing Spring Spa Health Centre. The centre provides a full range of old-age services including dependent care, vacation and recreation, medical care and rehabilitation. Development of similar aged-care health centres is being planned for the rest of the country.
